Financial Management Scholarships
Become a Business Leader in Financial Risk, Investing and Growth Planning
Graduates of Financial Management programs may find careers in small business, big business, investment services and the insurance industry. There are also options for those interested in not-for-profit organizations. Financial Managers oversee private, public and not for profit business financial plans including company investing, financial risk management and growth planning.
Job Requirements
Financial Managers are typically required to hold at least a Masters Degree. A common recipe for the job is an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance topped off with a Masters in Business Administration or Management. The "management" end of it is often earned, so scholarships are not easy to find for "financial management" majors, per se. If you are interested in majoring in Financial Management don't overlook the many business colleges that offer general finance and business scholarships.
Today's business professionals are facing stiff competition in an increasingly global economy. The more diligent you are in academics the more rewards you may reap in scholarships and recognition among peers and faculty.
