Colleges and Universities aren’t the only places to find Business Administration Scholarships. While some of these scholarships are school specific, look out for the corporations who are sponsoring the scholarships and see if they also offer scholarships in the school you are attending or planning to attend.
School Specific Scholarships
Portland State University
Gary and Barbara Ames School of Business Administration Scholarship
This is a great scholarship for minorities however preference will be given to those who meet the minimum requirements and who are of African/American or Latino/Hispanic descent. The other major requirements state the applicant’s must have a high financial need and a 3.5 GPA. If you meet all these requirements, make sure you have filled out the FAFSA and indicated PSU as one of your choices. You’ll also need to complete a personal narrative which is essentially essay questions you’ll need to answer and produce at least 2 letters of recommendation.
This is a full tuition scholarship and several of these are available. Applications are available through the PSU Foundation.

Wayne State University
School of Business Administration
There are several scholarships available to Business Administration students. These scholarships must be applied for online and entail different criteria. Some are endowed scholarships and some are corporate scholarships. There are scholarships for undergraduate as well as graduate students. Look over these examples and then you can access the full range of scholarships here.
While many of the above-mentioned scholarships are open to any student attending the School of Business Administration at Wayne State University, there are some scholarships specific to minorities or special areas of study or even specific to the county or school from which a student hails. While most scholarships are decided based on financial need, scholastic ability or achievement and leadership, there are certain scholarships that delve further.
Theodore Buckwick Endowed Scholarship awards undergraduate students in the School of Business Administration’s Management Program. Applicants must also be gainfully employed and this is in addition to the applicant’s demonstration of leadership ability, financial need and scholastic ability.
Comerica, Inc. Minority Scholarship provides awards to minorities enrolled in the School of Business Administration who demonstrate an interest in banking.
Community College Scholarship is set apart for a student who has transferred to the School of Business Administration at Wayne State University from a Community College.
Corporations are another source of scholarships for Business Administration students. The Ford Motor Company is one such corporate sponsor. While Ford has a scholarship listing at the School of Business Administration at Wayne State University, you will find these scholarships listed at other Schools of Business Administration as well.
Penn State Harrisburg College of Business Administration
Wachovia Undergraduate Scholarship
Wachovia is another of the corporate sponsors that provide various scholarships for Business Administration students that you’ll be able to find at schools other than this one. Not all Wachovia scholarships are for business administration students and not all of them are exactly the same. This particular scholarship awards students who have demonstrated financial need and who have superior academic achievement.
