
The John Seita Scholarship & Seita Scholars Program
Applicant must be an accepted incoming freshman or transfer student who qualifies for the Educational Training Voucher (ETV) in their state. Requirements of the award include: residing on campus, maintaining full-time student status, taking a seminar course for Seita Scholars, maintaining satisfactory academic progress, participating in academic monitoring, abiding by university codes for campus living, attending scheduled program events; paying bills on time, meeting regularly with a program advisor, not working on campus, and working with Campus Coaches to help navigate campus life.
Scholarship was created to help students who have recently aged out of foster care.
Renewable if recipient files a FAFSA by March 1 every year, continues to live on campus, and maintains satisfactory academic progress.
