South Carolina Press Association Foundation Newspaper Scholarship

Applicant must attend a South Carolina college and be interested in a career in newspapers. Selection is based upon grades, participation in journalistic activities in college, and recommendations of faculty members. Financial need may be considered.

Satisfactory progress is required for renewal.

Award must be repaid if recipient fails to work at a newspaper for two years within five years of graduation.
