Applicant must be a South Carolina resident with at least one deceased parent, have completed high school in South Carolina, and be transitioning into their freshman year at college. Financial aid and SAT Reasoning/ACT scores required.

Renewable if recipient maintains a minimum 2.0 GPA and participates in activities.
